Canon kick starts photography tours to encourage photo enthusiasts
Canon India Pvt. Limited launched a series of photography tours for enthusiasts from different walks of life. The first tour to Ladakh was flagged off from Canon Image Lounge, Gurgaon. Initiated under Canon's Go Pro program this series was inaugurated by President and CEO of Canon India Mr. Kensaku Konishi at the Image Lounge. The initiative aims at promoting photography as a serious profession amongst amateur photographers. Canon India has initiated its Go Pro marketing program to enhance the photographic experience for SLR users. Under this program, Canon plans to sign up with 12 renowned professional photographers and 6 expert trainers who would be sharing their experience and knowledge about photography. All activities like trainings, workshops, seminars, photo tours are designed under the Gro Pro program and implemented for all amateurs, photography enthusiasts and professional photographers. The other locations are Goa, Sikkim Jaisalmer & Shimla. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kensaku Konishi, President and CEO, Canon India said, “We have organized this event in order to promote more fun using SLR cameras and tried to explain the difference between a digital camera and an SLR. The photo enthusiasts get an opportunity for clicking better photographs and also getting professional advice. As a result first time users of SLR also get to understand more about SLR cameras and experience using them. Therefore it is our responsibility to promote the usage of this fantastic product. With this new initiative Canon aims to impart practical knowledge on photography among its target audience and take photography to the next level. |

Canon India Conducts Fashion Photography Workshop
Canon India Pvt. Limited, India's No 1. Complete Digital Imaging Company through Canon Image lounge has been organizing a variety of workshops to help professional and amateur photographers hone their skills. The latest was a Fashion Photography Workshop conducted by Prof. Manohar Desai at Mumbai. With the help of the fantastic facilities provided including state of the art cameras, lighting arrangements, props, models and make up artists, the finer points of “fashion lighting “ which included camera menu, lighting setup, composition, exposure setting and much more were dealt with. The workshop was appreciated by one and all and was a grand success. |
