While on the one hand employing a no-compromise dust-proof and drip-proof*<sup>1</ construction, on the other hand the quiet and fast autofocus, the mechanical full-time manual focus, and the broad zoom ring make the lens easy to use, while the circular diaphragm delivers a beautiful blur effect. The closest focusing distance is 0.38m, and the magnification is 0.29x, making the lens ideal for close-up photography.
